This
year proved to be a bit challenging in organizing and
attending. With Jim living back in Florida and the
Tailgate Stuff relocating with him, logistics proved to
be a big hurdle in trying to get the materials back up
North. After attending Summerfest in Milwaukee, Jim
ended up driving back to Florida, picking up the Stuff
and driving a truck back to Illinois in a 2 day period.
Attendance was hampered by Graduation Parties, Weddings
& Other Events going on that weekend. Still the less
than 100 that attended had a great time. Some people
that were unable to attend in years past were able to
make it for the first time and vowed to be back! With
the smaller turn out it enables organizers Jim &
Lyle the chance to mingle a bit more with the crowd than
in past years. The Tailgator Challenge winners were all
first timers, Mr. Tailgator-Ryan, Ms. Tailgator-Kristine
Rosalez, & Jr. Tailgator-Dalton Butts. The Game was
a sellout for the second year in a row and the Brewers
continued their winning ways during SCHALL’S Tailgate
by downing the Dodgers. Storage was found up North as
well to accommodate the Tailgate Stuff via some great
friends! To
the Tailgate Staff - A BIG THANK YOU for helping with
this years Tailgate. I couldn’t do it without you!!!
This year was a bit more challenging than in years past
but I with your help we pulled it off! Thanks for
helping with finding a home for the Tailgate Stuff in
the off season as well, I owe you Brian & Brian!!!
