Schall's Tailgate offers a friendly Tailgator Competition Event.  The competition consists of three games and concludes with the Tailgator Championship Sausage Bike Races. There is a limited time to complete all three events so please sign up and partake in the competition when you arrive at the Tailgate party.  Along with bragging rights - the winner walks away with the coveted Tailgator Golden Bottle trophy. 

GENERAL RULES

1. There are three Tailgator Competitor Divisions - Male, Female and Kids (12 and under)

2. Each player will be scored individually.

3. Each player must compete in all four events to qualify for the Sausage Races.

4. Players will be  ranked by Total Points scored in the four events.

5. The top 5 players in each Division will be eligible to compete in the Championship Sausage Bike Race Event.

6. Overall scoring tie-breakers will result in a "Sudden Death" single event competition.  The game will be randomly selected, via blind draw, by the judges.

7. Judges reserve the right to make rulings on adherence to the rules, interference, obstruction or poor sportsmanship. Penalties may include disqualification, disallowance and/or other penalties. All rulings by the Judges are final.

HOMER SIMPSON DONUT TOSS

Object: To get as many donuts as possible into the donut hole net.

Rules:

- Each Player will throw 10 sprinkle donuts from a designated tossing area.

- Each thrown toss must enter on a fly and stay within the netted area to be counted as  good.

- Bounced donuts entering the net will be ruled No Good.

Scoring:

- Each donut in the net will count as 3 points.

- (Maximum event score = 30 pts)

GATORADE POP-A-SHOT

Object: To make as many shots as possible in basketball hoop.

Rules:

- Each Player will have 45 seconds to make as many shots as possible from a designated shooting area.

- Players must start the timer by first making a basket, scoring will start when music stops.

- Each shot must pass through the hoop net to be counted as good.

Scoring:

- Each basket made within the first 30 seconds will count as 2 points.

- Each basket made within the last 15 seconds will count as 3 points.

- Scoring will be converted into Tailgator Challenge points as follows:

100 or more=30pts.

80-99=27

60-79=25

50-59=20

40-49=18

30-39=15

20-29=10

19 or less=5

- (Maximum event score = 30 pts)

CHILL OASIS GOLF PUTTING CHALLENGE

Object: To hit as many golf balls as possible into the putting green hole.

Rules:

- Each Player will have a total of 3 putts (1 putt/round) from a designated tee-box.

- Each golf ball must enter and stay in the hole to be counted as good.

- Each player must stand behind the designated putting line - violations will result in loss of putt.

- One stroke, per swing/striking of ball.

- Struck golf balls (touching anyone or anything besides the club and green) that enter the hole will be ruled No Good.

Scoring:

- Strokes, for each round will be assigned points as follows:

1 stroke = 10 points

2 strokes =  6 points

3 strokes = 3 points

4 strokes = 2 point

5+ strokes = 1 points

- (Maximum event score = 30 pts)

GOAT BOAT GOLF

Object: To get as many golf balls as possible into the goat boat.

Rules:

- Each Player will have a total of 10 swings  from a designated tee-box.

- Each pitch must enter on a fly and stay within the inside of the Goat Boat to be counted as Good.

- Bounced balls entering the boat will be ruled No Good.

Scoring:

- Each swing that results in a Good shot will count as 3 points.

- (Maximum event score = 30 pts)

TAILGATOR CHAMPIONSHIP SAUSAGE BIKE RACE

Object: To be the first biker to complete two laps around the designated track.

Rules:

- The top 5 overall players from each Division will be eligible to participate in their respective Division's Bike Race.

- The race is a two lap event.

- Upon the signal to start the race, each biker must drink one "Gator shot" (exception: kids will not do) before pedaling away from the start line with butt on bike seat, feet on bike pedals and hands on bike handlebars.

- Bikers receiving assistance around the course will be disqualified.

- On the first lap, the bikers must stop at each of the three remaining corners and drink an additional "Gator shot".

- The second lap is a non-stop sprint around the course to the finish line.

- The first biker to reach the finish line will be the Champion of their respective Division.
